The Vice President Communication & Branding and his/her team build and sustain our most important asset: our company’s reputation for sustainability, technology and well-being. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the entire organization’s communication strategy (both external and internal), branding, marketing and public relations activities for EDGE Technologies. This means you will create how the world perceives us! Our brand is critically important for how successful we are. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – top management attention is guaranteed.

Responsibilities you have

  • Maximize impact of EDGE Technologies and increase exposure and reputation.
  • Drive company strategy and message development, pitch and announcement strategies.
  • Determine communication strategy and execute programs to deliver communication objectives throughout the organization. 
  • Develop branding initiatives and internal communications.
  • Overseeing development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of branding, communications and public relations. 
  • Direct the efforts of the communication & branding team and coordinate the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization. 
  • Ensure primary stakeholders view the organization favorably.
  • Managing press releases and marketing campaigns.
  • Managing media relations and maximize media opportunities.
  • Ensuring that all opportunities for the CEO are fully vetted.

Skills you have

  • Master degree, PR and/or strategic communication 
  • Part of Tech business network and community
  • At least 10 years of experience in in a senior executive position, preferably experienced in a start up organisational setup. 
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
  • Inspiring people management skills; ability to influence, challenge, guide and engage peers. 
  • Innovator, results oriented, enthusiastic personality and high level of energy.
  • Strong social skills and natural drive to grow network.
  • An ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with focus and always the end result in mind. 
  • Open minded and flexible mindset
  • Ability to build strategic partnerships both on local as well as global level.
  • Understanding cultures, differences and other ways of doing business in an international context
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and departments at a global scale.
