This full-time position is a maternity leave replacement and based in Berlin

Responsibilities you have

  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program by coordinating outsourced payroll administration
  • HR Administration: payroll together with external payroll provider; absence; health insurances
  • Report to German Management and Dutch Board, providing decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance within labor law
  • Develop and Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for EDGE Germany
  • Manage employee development
  • Nuture a positive working environment
  • Ensure comprehensive utilization, completion and promotion of the annual Performance Management process
  • Coordinate and execute employer branding activities in Germany in alignment with the Branding Team
  • Provide advice and guidance for employees in all employee relations issues such as employment conditions, absence, wellbeing, insurance, performance management, recruitment and development
  • Report directly to Dutch CFO and German Managing Director


Skills you have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related (generalistic) HR role, e.g. HR Business Partner
  • Knowledge of the German Labor Market, Laws and current HR trends.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills in German and English
