FOR PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THE WORLD NEEDS BETTER BUILDINGS

As commercial manager at EDGE Next you will be working on the full commercial life-cycle with our international enterprise customers from acquisitions, sales and contracting up to account management working in a growing team of highly skilled and driven professionals. As the key commercial contact for customers, you will be working closely with the our Commercial Director, project managers and product owners of smart solution. You will have the chance to travel regularly within Europe for new leads and to meet clients (if travel restrictions permit).

Responsibilities you have

  • Work on the sales process for the EDGE  Next Platform solution and related services. You will help clients define their key use cases, matching our solution to answer their business needs and transforming this into proposals and negotiating Software as a Service Agreements
  • Being the key-contact for clients during sales, contracting and implementation. Making sure the customer gets what he wants and becomes a fan of EDGE Next
  • Maintaining after-sales contact with clients as key account manager (in selected cases)
  • Ensuring we have super happy customers by collaborating closely with technical project management and the product team
  • Working with product development to help develop amazing new smart solutions for our customers

 

You should be

  • A person that loves to work at the intersection of Real-Estate and IT-Technology. Sharing our strong believe that the world needs better buildings and that through digitalization we will be able to make buildings far more sustainable, healthy and efficient in their operation.
  • Passionate in solving customers´challenges with the best interest of the customers as your first priority, seeking to build a lasting customer relationship.
  • Able to switch between maintaining highlevel overview and detailed work on proposals and contracts. We are a scale-up so things change rapidly allowing you to have a dynamic, 360° position, which is something you strive under.
  • Outgoing with excellent inter-personal skills
  • Striving for excellence with a strong sense of ownership
  • Driven to be part of a diverse, high-performing team of innovators
  • Living/or willing to move to Dutch Randstand region and happy to travel for 5-6 days per month (travel restrictions permitting)

 

Skills and experiences you have

  • Min 2-3 years experience in sales in real estate and/or software sector, working with enterprise and large corporate customers, with counterparts on strategic management level.
  • A University degree for example in Real Estate, Business Administration, Law, IT or Data Science
  • Fluency in English (C level) is a must
  • Excellent German and Dutch skills are an asset
  • International sales experience is an asset
